I have a friend that highly recommended this shop for both price and cutomer service. I needed to try and find a couple new wedges and drove 2 hours with my friend to shop at the store. I tried a number of different clubs out in their demo area but ended up only being able to find one. I purchased it for $100. While hitting the wedges the owner suggested I hit one of the demo 7 irons. I was not initially there for a new set of clubs but liked the demo club so much I started debating on puchasing new clubs. I started hitting a number of different clubs and shaft combinations. I have two closets full of golf clubs I puchased and ended up later not liking so I now take a long time in making decisions. After a few hours I had decided to hit the demo one more time. After hitting it a couple more times I was ready to talk with the owner about a purchase especially since I was told they have the "best price around". I later checked and their "best price around" was the standard retail price. For no apparent reason the owner started berating us about wasting his time and not buying anything. I was speachless as he contiuned about how he had bills to pay and we were wasting his time. I informed him we were now done and I was going to purchase the $1000 set of clubs but obviously not now. The owner escorted us out and continued his rude attitude the entire way. I can not ever remember being treated so poorly in a business! I always try to give small local shops my business and if at all possible try to avoid the big box stores and internet. In this case I would highly recommend NOT going to this business. I guess if you walk in and spend money right away you are treated well but otherwise its a waste of the owners time. You can get the same clubs at any shop for the same or cheaper price without being treated poorly. On a positive note one of the employees, Frankie, was excellent, helpfull and very friendly.
